How to enable Auto save option in Dirt 2

One of the fine release from Codemasters game developers is Dirt 2. It is the fine contender in the racing category having tough competition with Electronic Arts Need for Speed Shift but both the titles getting swapped the first two positions in the racing category.

Dirt 2 has some complex in saving the game. The problem is most of the gamers cant able to enable Auto save option. This requires a windows live account which is very useful for playing online with your friends or other people around the globe. No one want to go for registration because most of them holds a pirated copy of the game.

Anyway these cheap technique cant have a tough security. Here is the solution to enable the Auto save option in offline mode. Just follow the simple steps below,

  • Start the game, go to the Windows Live menu
  • Click create profile
  • Clicking continue will lead to online registration so, don't do that
  • Scroll down the instructions, you will find a link called create local profile
  • Click on that and create a local profile (Offline profile)
  • Now your game gets Auto Saved whenever you launch the game.
  • Enjoy the game.
