Samsung Corby Pro and Corby Plus are the devices for those who needs an QWERTY phone under $250 mark. We personally appreciate Samsung for making QWERTY devices for all. Everybody can't able to buy an Xperia, N97 or HTC Touch Pro but still they need such a device falling under their budget. These dreams made true by Corby Pro and Plus devices. Let's move on to the device features and specs.

Both devices have nice design, appearance and good messaging functionality. Corby Plus is low priced device comparing to its twin brother Pro. Its Specs are almost same as normal Corby, the difference are 3.5mm headset jack and slide out QWERTY keyboard. It has no 3G and WLAN. It costs around $190.

Corby Pro compromises all the features which are missing in other Corby devices including Corby Plus. It has 100MB internal memory instead of 30MB, secondary memory extension upto 16GB instead of 8GB, 3.2 megapixel camera instead of 2 mega pixel, 3G, WLAN and 2.8 inches display instead of 2.6 available on Plus. Corby Pro is priced at $245.

Coming to software part both devices got new widgets and support for QWERTY messaging. You may ask, Corby Pro has features which are available on a high end business phone then what is the difference? Answer is very simple these devices don't have an mobile OS, features only a normal java platform but even though it can act as a high end mobile phone. Thanks Samsung for giving Star series as low cost touchscreen devices and these devices as low cost touchscreen with QWERTY. Hope both Corby Pro and Plus will make some big profit for Samsung in early 2010.
