HTC Tattoo, the mobile phone best known for changing its physical appearance now ready to run the new Android OS Eclair. Yeah HTC confirmed Android v2.1 OS update for Tattoo. The Eclair mobile OS seen on only with high end devices like Nexus One and Droid, Now with Tattoo is like getting a bad credit auto loans. We appreciate HTC for making Tattoo more efficient.

Tattoo is powered by Qualcomms's 528Mhz processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, WiFi and 3.5mm headset jack. These specification are enough for the new OS, Well we can take this as a challenge to both Google and HTC to prove their performance. HTC also said that the update will take some time to configure its Sense UI with Eclair. It’s clear that HTC will release an update but not soon.

Advantage over getting this new update are you can download latest applications from Google labs and developers, you can use software’s which are designed for Nexus one and Droid if hardware specification is not an issue. HTC also said that there is no OS update for Hero and Magic. Releasing the update as soon as possible can increase the sales of Tattoo.

Yesterday, Virgin media announced 100 Mbps high speed broadband internet service to its UK customers. Already it provides 10, 20 and 50 Mbps broadband internet service. This 100 Mbps is especially for residential customers. Company claims it as major growth and plans for 200 Mbps. Virgin media confirms that this service will be available from this year end. You can download a normal mp3 song in just 5 seconds using 100 Mbps connection.

Virgin uses fiber optic cables to deliver high speed broadband services. Increase in broadband speed simultaneously improves business web hosting services. In US, FCC suggests broadband service providers to boost up their speed upto 100 Mbps. According to media reports Google and Cisco plans for ultra high speed networks, we are eagerly waiting for announcements from these giants. Virgin may campaign 200 Mbps broadband test possibly by May 2010.

Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer announced Windows Phone 7, its not phone it is next generation Windows mobile OS. Important aspects of Windows Phone 7 are it has a interface embedded with Zune and Xbox Live. He also said that this new OS will be completely different from the present one in both performance and visual appearance. When we saw the demo, the interface looks very beautiful and elegant. Balmer also said, there will be no more start button and start menu in mobile phones which runs Windows Phone 7. But Adobe expressed that the company doesn't give flash support for Windows Phone 7 this year. There is no official response from Microsoft regarding this. Balmer simply said Windows Phone is designed to give "What people want in their hands". 

Windows Phone 7 looks similar to Zune HD interface, home page includes lot of re-arranging options. Even though Microsoft delivered more about its new OS, it will be available only on this year holiday season, on the other words you have to wait atleast 10 more months to get new devices powered by Windows Phone 7. Windows Phone 7 should not allow other interfaces like HTC Sense, Touch Flo 3D, TouchWiz on its top. Hope Window Phone 7 will change all bad opinions about Windows mobile and act as more tough competitor for Palm OS, Symbian, Android and Bada.
